TORONTO, ON — The 2026 PWHL Entry Draft has been scheduled for June 17, sources have confirmed to IW.
The Vancouver Goldeneyes hold the first-overall selection in this year’s Draft, followed by the Seattle Torrent, New York Sirens and Toronto Sceptres.
However, with the expectation of expansion on the horizon, should new teams be added for the 2026-27 season, the final draft order of selection for all picks following Vancouver, which will remain first-overall, will be confirmed at a later date.
While the location of the Draft is not yet confirmed, it is believed to be taking place in the U.S. city, sources have suggested.
Last year’s 2025 PWHL Draft took place at the Hard Rock Live Theatre in Ottawa, where Kristyna Kaltounkova was selected first overall by the New York Sirens.
Wisconsin defender Caroline Harvey is projected to go first-overall next month, while teammate Laila Edwards and Minnesota winger Abbey Murphy are considered top-five locks.
